Concept Sketches
Each theatre play poster started off with a few different concepts. I wanted to hint at each play's plot and message through notable objects or symbolism that could be found throughout its respective storylines.
Process
The Clean House used both digital design and photography. For its title, I created a fruit sticker to be printed and placed on the apple.
Star Stuff was designed with Procreate and Adobe Illustrator. A reference photo was taken of a hand reaching out to be later outlined and created into a constellation.
Dance Theatre Concert was designed with Procreate and Adobe Illustrator. I started off by studying various dance styles and illustrated a few notable poses. I later illustrated hazier dance poses with the slightest offset to give movement. Letters at the end of each word were elongated and fades out to give movement as well.
