CLIENT: Students of California State Polytechnic University, Pomona
ROLE: Lead Graphic Designer

OBJECTIVE: Design a resourceful guide for incoming students, as well as current students, to assist and enrich their college experience. The magazine includes campus resources, information on events, student life, and more. This magazine was designed in collaboration with the graphic design team, editor-in-chief, and marketing coordinators.
The Bronco Guide is an annual magazine published by The Poly Post, Cal Poly Pomona's student-run newspaper. I cross-managed the graphic design team to develop the Bronco Guide print magazine from start to finish through weekly meetings, in order to meet the publication deadline. Along with managing, I also created and designed magazine layouts with original illustrations and photography, when needed.

Design Guide
To ensure cohesion and establish consistency with all magazine layout designs, a design style guide was developed. Since this is a team of 7 graphic designers, including myself, the use of a design guide would encourage a seamless look across the entire magazine despite our varying styles.
The positive and friendly color palette was designed for its respective story category and the use of typefaces was established.
